Windlesham Cemetery – Friendly Reminder

To help keep Windlesham Cemetery a peaceful, safe and respectful place for everyone, please remember:

• Walk where possible when visiting a grave. Visitors are encouraged to park by the church and use the footpath to access the cemetery.

• If you do need to drive within the cemetery, please drive slowly and with great care, especially when turning around.

• The new half-plot section is not a turning circle and must not be used for vehicle manoeuvring. Please be considerate of graves, visitors and the surrounding grounds. 

 

 

• When tending graves, please take home any plant pots, polystyrene trays and other packaging. Our bins quickly become full, and we have recently found gardening waste and packaging left behind graves and in bushes, creating unnecessary litter.

A little consideration goes a long way.
