The Parish Council is an elected body in the first tier of local government. Windlesham Parish Council has 18 councillors representing Bagshot, Lightwater and Windlesham.

The duties and functions of a parish council are many and varied but fall into 3 main categories:

Windlesham Parish Council meetings are held 6 times a year. The Village Committees meet monthly (except August and December) and all meetings are open to the public.
