Vandalism at School Lane Field, Bagshot

Published: 26 March 2026

The Parish Council has received reports, along with photographic evidence from a resident, highlighting further vandalism and graffiti at School Lane Field.

Both the life ring and a memorial bench have been targeted, with graffiti causing visible damage

The matter has been formally reported to the police. We have also contacted our local Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Godber, to ensure she is aware of the situation and the continued issues at this location.

While vandalism affecting the life rings has been a recurring problem, this escalation to include graffiti is especially troubling. The Parish Council will continue to monitor the situation closely and will provide further updates as new information becomes available.

Residents are also reminded that, according to the Surrey Police website, a “Meet the Beat” session will take place on Thursday 27 March at 10:30am at Tringham Hall in West End. This provides an opportunity for members of the community to raise concerns directly with local officers. More information on this is available via this website: The Six Villages | Your area | Surrey Police | Surrey Police

We encourage anyone with information regarding these incidents to report it to the police.
