Lightwater War Memorial and Garden – Ready for Remembrance

The flower beds surrounding the War Memorial and Memorial Garden in Lightwater have been freshly planted in preparation for Remembrance Sunday.

We extend our sincere thanks to Longacres Bagshot Garden Centre and the Lightwater Society for generously donating the beautiful plants that now brighten this special space in our village.

A special thank you also goes to Councillor Malcaus-Cooper, Councillor Willgoss, and Councillor Stevens for their hands-on help with the planting.

We hope residents and visitors alike enjoy the display, and take a moment to pause, reflect, and remember.

🕚 Wreath Laying Ceremony:
This will take place at 11am on Sunday, 9 November, following the remembrance service at All Saints’ Church, Lightwater.
