Windlesham Village Committee – Meeting Update

Windlesham Cemetery

The Council discussed cemetery regulations, with further details to be shared in due course. Work on drainage surveys will move forward during autumn and winter, and the feasibility of a grave plot buy-back scheme will also be explored.

Speed Survey

The recent village speed survey has now been completed. The Parish Council will be holding discussions with Surrey County Council regarding the next steps.

Windmill Field Playground

It was agreed that a new bench will be installed near the pathway at Windmill Field Playground, providing a welcome resting point for parents, carers, and visitors.

Community Grant

A grant has been approved to support the Over 60s Lunch Club.
