Father Christmas visits local Christmas tree farm to choose village trees!

As the festive season approaches, our villages are preparing for a cherished tradition: the arrival of our festive Christmas trees! 

This year, we had a very special visitor to help make sure we have the most splendid trees to light up our villages. Yes, you guessed it - Father Christmas himself took a break from his busy preparations to visit the local Christmas tree farm and personally handpick the trees for Lightwater, Bagshot and Windlesham.

"It’s all about finding trees that bring people together," Father Christmas explained, choosing three perfect fir trees with just the right height, fullness, and shape.

After settling on the charming trio of trees, Father Christmas climbed back onto his sleigh. He left the farm with a hearty "Ho, ho, ho!" and promised that he would be back to check on us all come Christmas Eve.

The trees will soon be delivered to each village, ready to spread holiday cheer.
