Grand Opening of Freemantle Playground in Bagshot!

On Friday 2nd August, the much-anticipated Grand Opening of Freemantle Playground in Bagshot took place.
The playground, which now features a climbing frame with slide, swings, see-saw, rock ‘n’ bowl roundabout, springies and an attractive sensory totem pole, was enjoyed by an array of children during the sunny afternoon.
As well as having lots of fun in the park, Windlesham Parish Council provided a professional face-painter for the children. There were lots of happy faces and fun designs!
The afternoon was a great success, and it was wonderful to see so many families enjoying the freshly updated space.
If you haven’t been over to the new playground, be sure to check it out! There is a lovely grassy area to set up a picnic and spend a sunny summers day.
