Calling all young artists!

WPC is excited to announce a weekly drawing competition for all children in the parish. This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to showcase their creativity and have their artwork featured on our website and social media pages.

How to Participate:

1. Draw your masterpiece with a summer theme! Think sunny days, picnics, ice cream and playgrounds!

2. Take a clear photo or scan of your drawing.

3. Send your artwork to clerk@windeshampc.gov.uk

Alternatively, bring your drawing into the Parish Council Offices in Lightwater and submit it in person. Please check the office opening hours or pop through the post-box!

Please include your name, age and contact details on the back of your drawing.

Categories:

Ages 4-7 years

Ages 8-12 years

Winning Drawings:

Each week, the Chair and Vice Chair of the Council will select a winner for each category.

Winning drawings will be highlighted on our Parish Council website and social media pages.

Each winner will receive a special shout-out and certificate!

Important Dates:

Submission Deadline: Every Friday at 5pm (first submission date Friday 26th July and last submission date Friday 30th August)

Winners Announced:

Every Tuesday! Keep an eye on our pages! Last winner to be announced on 3rd September.

We can't wait to see all the wonderful summer-themed drawings from our talented young artists.
