Vintage Wicksteed Elephant Springer For Sale

Following the refurbishment of Kings Lane Playground in Windlesham the Parish Council are now selling ‘Nelly’ the vintage elephant springer and hope that she may be rehomed locally.

Nelly was sited in Windlesham for a significant number of years and is complete with original paintwork. Although in use up until recently, Nelly no longer meets current playground regulations and is not suitable for public use.

The Parish Council is hoping to achieve in the region of £500 for this vintage piece of equipment, which will be ring fenced for the future maintenance of Kings Lane Playground.

The deadline for offers is the 14th February 2020 after which all offers will be considered at the February Full Council meeting. The person submitting the successful bid will be notified by the end of February and will need to collect from the Council Offices in Lightwater.

Please note that this item is exceptionally heavy and will require a minimum of two strong people to collect it. The Council are unable to arrange transport.
