Heritage Open Day at Bagshot Chapel this September!

Windlesham Parish Council is delighted to announce that Bagshot Chapel will be participating in the nationwide Heritage Open Days! This is a unique opportunity for the community and visitors to explore one of our local historical treasures.

Event Details:

• Date: Saturday, 14th September
• Time: 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• Location: Bagshot Chapel, Bagshot, Surrey, GU19 5DE

This is a free event, and no pre-booking is required.

Bagshot Chapel, an early 20th-century chapel of rest is nestled within a peaceful, closed cemetery, the chapel offers a glimpse into the past and an opportunity to reflect on the stories it holds.

The cemetery is also the final resting place of Emily Jane Popejoy, a servant girl whose tragic death became a significant event in Victorian society.
