Covid 19 Update

The Council would encourage residents to consider any vulnerable neighbours they may have in their locality, as it is these people who are the most severely impacted during adverse events, and where they may be able to help.

Advice that becomes available will be posted here accordingly. The latest advice from Surrey County Council in relation to the situation in Surrey can be found here.

 Bagshot Response

While this national emergency on the spread and infection of the coronavirus exists, voluntary community agencies along with the various Churches within the Camberley and Bagshot aeras are setting up a central number to offer assistance and support to residents who are self isolating at this time. 

It is hoped that where possible neighbours, friends and family are providing the support and assistance to anyone who has to self-isolate. However for some of the community, who do not have a local network, self-isolation means just that. It is for this reason that local volunteer and church groups have organised to provide support for vulneralbe members of the community. 

For anyone requiring support while self-isolating such as shopping, picking up medication, essential transport or just someone to talk to then please contact 01276 66798.

The line is open 9am-5pm, 7 days a week. 

Lightwater Resilience Plan

A message will give you the name and telephone number of the person taking calls that day for you to get in touch with. They will then take your details and arrange for a volunteer to help with your request.
