The most regular national Coronavirus updates are available on the following website https://bit.ly/2U5Bpf4

From 1st July 2020

The borough-wide project, Surrey Heath Prepared, which offered assistance and support to residents who were self-isolating has now come to an end. Now that the infection rate is falling and the period of enforced lockdown is ending, support to residents within Surrey Heath is changing. If Parish residents are still in need of help, the services being provided in each village are listed below.

Bagshot Response

Fom 1st July, Bagshot Care working in partnership with local churches and a team of community volunteers will manage any new or on-going requests for help by residents shielding or in quarantine who do not have neighbours, friends or family who can provide them with support and assistance. If Bagshot residents require support while self-isolating such as shopping, access to food parcels, picking up medication or essential transport, or require essential travel due to mobility issues they can now call Bagshot Care any weekday between 10am and noon on 07973 560216. They can leave a voicemail message if you call at any other time and it will be picked up at 10am on the next weekday.

Lightwater Resilience Plan

The Lightwater Resilience Plan is continuing its current operation. Volunteers are continuing to help vulnerable residents with shopping, delivering prescriptions, visiting the vulnerable on a regular basis to check on their well being and offering advice and signposting for anything anyone in the village may be worried about.

If you need help and live in Lightwater please ring 07741 455595 or 07767 455718 between 10am and 12 noon, Monday to Friday and a local volunteer will be in touch.

Please note that at the moment neither the Lightwater Resilience Plan nor Lightwater Care are able to undertake any driving duties to the surgery, Frimley Park Hospital or any other local venue because of the restrictions imposed as a result of the Coronavirus emergency. We will let you know as soon as this changes.

Windlesham

During lockdown, Windlesham response wrapped around Windlesham Caring - who continued to take calls from residents needing support. From 1st July. Windlesham Caring, working in partnership with the team of community volunteers from Windlesham Response, will help manage any new or on-going requests for help by residents shielding or in quarantine who do not have neighbours, friends or family who can provide them with support and assistance. We are still here for Windlesham residents who require support while self-isolating such as shopping, access to food parcels or picking up medication.
