‘Windlesham Parish Council would like to hear residents’ views on a proposal to change the route of the 500 Bus.
The proposal has been suggested so that Windlesham residents can benefit from an hourly service to the Doctor’s Surgery at Lightwater and for all residents to benefit from an improved frequency service to Camberley, Frimley Park Hospital and the Meadows (on Saturdays). However, under this proposal, the bus will no longer travel to Egham and Staines - although passengers will be able to change at Sunningdale Station and take the train.
We are in the process of conducting initial research into residents’ views on this proposal before we commence a formal public consultation.
Windlesham Parish Council want to know your views! What do you think about the Pavilion on the Recreation Ground behind All Saints Church in Lightwater? What would you like to see it used for? Please give us your thoughts via a short survey - click on the link provided and spend a few minutes filling in a simple questionnaire.
