A publication scheme is a commitment by a public authority to make certain information available to the public, and a guide to how that information can be obtained.
The Council's publication scheme provides guidance on information that the Council publishes or intends to publish. It includes details of the information such as the format, where the information is available and whether costs apply.
This scheme ensures that a significant and growing amount of information is easily available without the need to make a specific request.
The model publication scheme lists the kinds of information we provide organised into seven classes of information. The information is available via the publication scheme in the following ways:
- A web page, searchable database or downloadable document on this website:
- A printed copy available for inspection at our offices.
Publication does not refer solely to printed material; it includes material on our website, printed books, reports and leaflets
